Faves and Raves
Firstly a big, big thank you to all of you kind and generous people that have either been to visit my little bit of DA, faved my images, left some very complementary comments or even added me to their watchlist. I'm very flattered and pleasantly surprised.
On the point of faves and thanks, since joining I couldn't help but notice that whenever I have faved or commented on an artwork a goodly number will then go to the trouble of thanking me in return
Now, I must confess that this is something that I'm not very good at when people do the same to my work and there do seem to be some mixed views about this so I'm just letting it be known that I don't do an automatic thankyou.
What I do do though, when I can beat my family back from the shared PC to get on, is I will, without hesitation, fave something if I like it, and if the earth moves for me I will definitely leave a comment, and I don't expect anything in return because, well, as I've said elsewhere, life is too short.
So.. having just got back into the swing of things and starting to post stuff again a little domestic situation has just arisen that is going to take up a lot of my time and severely limit what I can do on here for a month or two at least. I will still post when I can but please don't think me to be rude if I'm unable to respond to any mailings.
Happy Posting to all
Regards
Cluke

That was Zen, but this is Tao.
Right now I'm having amnesia and deja vu at the same time. I think I've forgotten this before !

Thankyou for the generous and warm response. I am interested in your articles because a very quick read of the items on your front page has already enlightened me and I intend to follow up on the download that you suggest.
But, and there's a very big but, I'm not in the slightest mathematically gifted so the theoretical side invariably goes completely over my head. I'm more one of those annoying types that can't patiently listen to instructions, chomps at the bit to get going and then presses every button in sight just to see what happens! A colleague quite often gives me his software tools for destruction testing!LOL
I started out on Tierazon in April this year and I've just had my first go of Fractal Explorer - both very nice and very easy and I'm really pleased with the results. Tierazon is so easy that I've already saved about 6000 small files to have a play with but due to time constraints I've only managed to produce about 150 finished files.
The driver for me is the creative impact and I do seem to like my bright colours but I have noticed, since joining DA, that within the fractal community here the more contemporary programmes seem to hold sway and most of the popular images are very dark and can even be ominous sometimes. Not always the thing you would want to put on your living room wall - but perhaps I'm showing my age. So, for a little while I was doubtful whether to carry on with the Tierazon stuff, but, what the hell, I've practically got my own niche in here.
I do admire your own work. It's very pure and very exact and I'm truly impressed that you actually know exactly what is going on in every image - something that I could never aspire to and probably wouldn't want to because, I suppose, for me, it would blow away that touch of mystique that these things generate.
Anyway, enough blabbering, it's a pleasure to make your acquaintance and I look forward to seeing more of your work.

Light or dark colors, you decide yourself using the color editor of you software
That's a tricky subject. I am one of very few that pot "raw" fractals, that is without filters or pp. You can read about that in my journal [link] ..
I try to do what I am doing., My motives are stops on a journey
And I know hardly anything about IFS or FLAME fractals. Wish you a good luck with the fractal journey of your own
